I'm Sidney — a NYC-based UX/UI designer who leverages more than 6 years of healthcare & clinical experience to produce engaging products that can solve problems and influence change.
I believe that problems create the space so that creative solutions can appear.
While my roots are in science and medicine, my passion stems from understanding, solving, and connecting with people. Whether it be establishing new connections, tackling challenging situations, or collaborating with teams, my problem-solving and critical thinking mindset has helped me create functional solutions for various organizations.
By blending my clinical background to design knowledge, I offer a unique perspective to my craft and process, where I see things in systems and the flow that holds these systems together. This weave of disciplines grants me balance between logic and aesthetics, user needs and business goals, and refinement and evolution.
When I am not designing, you can find me:
-
Trying out new, up-and-coming coffee shops in NYC.
-
Exploring different neighborhoods and new cuisines (I'm still waiting to try Ethiopian food).
-
Finishing NYT Games as quickly as possible (current favorite game is Pips).
-
Planning for my next cross-hemisphere trip.
